Rashan and Ren are currently developing a graphic novel “Dark Energy” in collaboration with a veteran Marvel illustrator. Dark Energy is a play on words of the scientific phenomenon known as Dark Energy and the darkness of human nature. Imagine Game of Thrones meets Star Wars, with tons of political intrigue and backstabbing. In the distant future, the human, spacefaring commonwealth has lost its sovereignty to a warlike alien race called the Brekans.

Enter our hero, Jade, who wishes to free humanity. To do so, she must team up with her old mentor, who once betrayed her, and a radical revolutionary, who believes that an armed uprising is the only way to end Brekan rule. Can she hold this tenuous alliance together and not fall victim to the corruption that power brings.
